EVASIVE SPACE, HIGH VOLTAGE, WII, WIIWARE, YUKE'S, AKINAI GAMES Classic arcade action, cool new twist

 
I picked up Evasive Space on Monday morning - the first title I've purchased from High Voltage Software - expecting it to be something better than what we've seen from the developer so far (Gyrostarr, High Voltage Hot Rod Show). Call it a hunch.

I haven't yet played all the way through it, but after getting a little time with the game, I'm not disappointed at all. Evasive Space feels like something I could've played a couple of decades ago, but with much better graphics and a truly unique and well-executed control scheme.

I'll write up a review once I've had a chance to finish, but in any case, my impressions are very positive and I believe it's completely worth the 1000 Wii Points.
